SUMMARY:The GREAT BIG Clothes Share
DESCRIPTION: St Thomas’ Church\, Heamoor TR18 3JD – Sat 7th Oct – 10am -12 noon\n This is our first such event. It came about from doing the Eco church survey\, part of ‘Creation Care’ which is a Diocese wide initiative to ‘ Cherish Creation\, Cut Carbon & Speak up’ . It asked about clothes swaps and I thought it would be a good idea to simply give the clothes away. Given the difficult circumstances that some people are experiencing\, I thought that a free clothes event might be helpful. If anyone should want to make a financial donation\, we will collect for our chosen charity\, ‘Cool earth’ which is a charity that backs people to protect rainforests and fight climate change.
