DESCRIPTION:Come and hear the historic organ at Madron Church played by guest organists and learn its secrets. Tea and cakes served. Donations to organ restoration fund. \n10.30am Kevin Lane : a local organist who has taught music in schools for many years and now directs numerous local choirs. \n11am Paul Martin : visiting from Bere Regis\, Dorset\, Paul is an experienced organist and also a Music therapy teacher. \n11.30am Mike Scoble : a local organist of many years experience \n12.00pm Mary King : a local organist\, playing regularly at churches including St Buryan. \n12.30pm John Philpotts : a local organist with a wealth of experience\, having played the organ from a young age. \nWe are very grateful to all of these wonderful musicians for giving us their time and talent. \nSome work was needed to be done on the organ last year and this is the first opportunity we’ve had to have a music day since then. More restoration is needed in the near future.

They say\, ‘We pray for those in Ukraine who suffer grievously\, for all who take decisions around the world\, and for the people and leaders of Russia too.’ \nJoin this national day of prayer by coming into church at any time for quiet prayer.
