May 20th Madron Sunday after Ascension O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: we ask you not to leave us comfortless but to send your Holy Spirit to strengthen us and exalt us to the place where our Saviour Christ is gone before, who is alive and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN. Readings Acts 1.15-17,21-end John 17. 6-19 Communion hymn 193 Today has been designated by our bishop and Steve Wild as a day of prayer for Cornwall. Evening Prayer is here tonight at 6pm Christian Aid envelopes are available in church today if you wish to use them. If you take one away, please return it ASAP. Church watch. In order to open for summer visitors between June & September we would like volunteers, please to sit in church from 2-4pm (Tues to Thurs) . There are sheets the back where you can sign up. We’d be grateful for any slots any of you could fill. Ideally we would prefer two at a time. Thanks to those who have already done this in past years. Home groups continue this week.
